Since the age of 14 Mat has been mixing , scratching and making mixes and beats, showcasing different genres and styles but always having one thing in common -heavy beats and basslines. It all started after hearing the electronic sounds being played in the warehouse parties around the northwest of England in ‘88. In 1995 Mat moved to Whistler Canada to pursue his new addiction of snowboarding and being in the mountains. Described by Knowledge Magazine as 'awe-inspiring' & 'some next level shit.' Mat's music selection appeals to a wide variety of crowds, spanning many genres. Mat has toured across the globe and performed in 14 countries from Miami to Moscow at Sports events like the US Supercross , Olympic Games (Torino & Whistler) , X Games as well as to many of Canada's largest festivals of up to 15,000 people. He's pioneered club nights in Whistler & Vancouver and held down a bi-weekly clubnight in Las Vegas at Eye Candy (Mandalay Bay). Now touring with his video / DJ set, he is taking the solo DJ act to new heights, getting the crowd moving by hitting all of their senses with custom remix and video edits.
